What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an innovative alternative payment model for primary care embraced by patients, physicians, employers, payers, and policymakers across the United States. The defining element of DPC is an enduring and trusting relationship between a patient and their primary care provider. For more information, please visit: DPCare.

Do you take insurance?

No. Our practice is a self-pay service, and we do not accept or bill insurance or other third-party payers. Taking health insurance payments creates tremendous cost and unnecessary burden, which then requires seeing hundreds more patients in a shorter amount of time to offset that cost. Additionally, taking insurance allows them to dictate how we care for our patients, and health insurance is not interested in preventing illness or promoting wellness. Not taking insurance means we work for YOU, not big corporations. However, you can still use your insurance for lab work, medications, scans, specialty visits, etc.

Can I use HSA/FSA?

Yes, as long as your HSA or FSA acts as a VISA or other credit card, you can enter it securely as a credit card payment on file. However, we cannot guarantee that membership fees will be eligible with your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). It is your responsibility to check with your program administrator. If our website will not take your card, I can also write an invoice monthly for you to reimburse yourself.

How long is the waiting list?

Our waitlist varies depending on current patient demand, but we aim to keep it as short as possible. On average, patients may expect a wait time of several weeks to a few months. By joining the waitlist, you’ll be among the first notified when spots become available. We appreciate your patience and are excited to welcome you into our care when enrollment reopens!
